  1. vaibhav sharma says:

a}first use HBr and then use aqueous naoh/koh
    b}same as a part
    c}use alcoholic koh

  2. hemant says:

    a> H2O and H2SO4
    b> H2O and H2SO4

  3. hem singh says:

    by hydrolysis

  4. Shivam Gandhi says:

    a)Hydro-boration oxidation method.
    b)Hydro-boration oxidation method.
    c)Simple addition of H2O.

  5. vaibhav kumar gautam says:

in 1st add hbr inpresence of h2o2 and then add oh-
in 2nd and 3rd add h3o+ major product will be 3rd and minor is 2nd

  6. Havan says:

a)Treat with HBr in presence of peroxide, and then treat with Aq. KOH/NaOH.

    b)Same as (a)

    c) Treat with HBr, then treat with aq. KOH/NaOH.

I think this is correct to my knowledge. If any mistake, please let me know. :)

  7. ginni says:

    I DEHYDROBORATION
3 HBR AND THEN ALC KOH…

  8. priyanshu lilha says:

    1.hydroboration oxidation
    2.hydrroboration oxidation
3.acid catalysed hydration or oxymercuration demercuration

  9. g8x says:

    a) h2so4/hgso4
    b)hydro boration oxidation
    c)h2o by markownikov

  10. parth says:

one can be sythesized through hydrobaration oxidation…
second can be synthesyzed through oxymercuration nd demercuration….
third can be synthesized with h2o in the presence of H+ ions……….

  11. srinivas says:

    1. chlorinate in the prescence of h2o2 ond then hydrolyse it with h2o.

2.chlorinate in the prescence of h2o2 ond then hydrolyse it with h2o.

    3.just hydrolyse it.

  12. akshaydixi says:

Pathetic question this shows ypur incompetence in chemistry.. if u ve te time to ask sch qs then what the hell do u think u r doing dreaming abt IIT ? Get real…..

  13. Himanshu says:

    probably..for d first case ozonolysis.nnd then reduction..
    for d second one..diborane method…
for d third one..using acid hydrolysis ma help..

  14. Jenil says:

    a) BH3 in presence of THF (tetra hydro furan) and then add H2O2…

    b) BH3 in presence of THF (tetra hydro furan) and then add H2O2…

    c) Aq KOH or mercuric acetate…(oxy mercuration) n den demercurate it by supplying heat…

  15. Rohan says:

do catalytic hydrogenation and then do cholrination using thionl chlorid in presence of peroxide for first one, similarly for second one nt sure..
and with no peroxide for 3rd one…

  16. shanu says:

i think all these can be done with HydroBorationOxidation reaction.

  17. Eshwar says:

a)Addition of Hydrogen Iodide followed by aq.KOH or NaOH.
    b)Oxy-Mercuration Demercuration(major product)
    c)Oxy-Mercuration Demercuration(minor product)

  18. Siddharth Yadav says:

    a)Hydroboration Oxidation.
    b)Hydroboration oxidation.
    c)Oxymercuration Demercuration OR Simple Hydrolysis.

  19. Nikhil says:

    Oxymercuration-demercuration

  20. meerul bhatia says:

    by hydrolysis

  21. abhishek.hiremath says:

a&b are addition of water using antimarko i.e either use hydroboration+water
for c it is marko addition so use oxymercuration/demercuration

  22. neha says:

a,b,c all of dem can be synthesized by treatng with HBr. a) shoulb be treatd along with peroxide.

  23. pooja kapoor says:

a.1st using hbr and then using aq.koh or naoh……….
    b.hydroboronation oxidation……
    c.oxy-mercuration-demercuration

  24. Harsh Shivhare says:

we can simply use hydroboration oxidation method in a and b part, through which OH will stick acc. to the anti-markowmikoWs rule…….and H & OH sticks in syn-manner …….in c part we can use oxymercuration demercuration………
