I am an OBC-NCL as per new Telengana State but not in Central List (NCBC), what will be my status?

The National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. NCBC publishes the central list of OBCs – there is a separate list for each state. As of today [5 May 2015], no list has been prepared for new Telangana State [http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx]. Hence, we will be using the same list as that for Andhra Pradesh for Telangana also. However, note that the state of Telangana itself has a list of OBCs, just like every other state. But we do NOT consider this state list of OBC, since we follow the Central list, rather than the State list. Hence, if the category is mentioned in the central list of Andhra Pradesh, it will be considered, otherwise not.

I chose my category as OBC (or SC or ST) by MISTAKE while registering for JEE (Main) 2015. But I don't have the certificate or I don't belong to this category or my caste/class is NOT in the Central list of OBC. I would like to change my category. Is it possible?
