All those students who are looking for enrolment in IIT can now get more relaxations and perks from Human recourse department in coming days. The government is all set to simply the necessity of 75% marks in board exams for getting admission in IIT. If this is implemented on the ground, students of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttrakhand and Jharkhand will be largely benefitted. Although, students from all boards will get benefited from new rules and they have more opportunities to get admission into IIT.

According to a senior official of Human Resource departmentHRD minister Smriti Irani has asked to make education students friendly. She urged that when a student can qualify the most complicated IIT JEE mains and advanced exam, then there is no Inevitability of getting 75% marks in board exams.

Earlier, a student needs to rank top twenty percentile apart from qualifying advance test to get admission in IIT.  Around 250 students could not enrolled in IIT in last three years because they failed to get top 20 percentile in board whereas they will declared eligible to get admission in IIT by clearing IIT entrance exam.

It generally happens that lots of students that get 85%-90% marks in CBSE board fail to secure their place in top 20 percentile. Therefore, the government is seriously mulling to reduce to score limit from 75% to 60% or less than it.
